A Sansevieria Plant, from South Africa, is a resilient plant that is best suited for the bedroom as it yields the most oxygen during this nighttime. NASA lists the Sansevieria plant as an excellent plant for cleaning air and removing carcinogens

Light - A Sansevieria can be placed anywhere in your home. The more light, the faster a Sansevieria grows.

Care - Plant a Sansevieria in a good rich organic soil that drains quickly. If the soil in the pot isn't draining well, add some sand.

Water - Allow the soil to completely dry out before watering Sansevierias. During the winter, in a low light area, a Sansevieria Plant needs water only once a month.

Toxicity - A Sansevieria is a mildly  poisonous houseplant with a  level #1 toxicity

Location -  Bed rooms are the best place for this plant as they create the most oxygen at night. To watch Kamal Meattle's TED talks about this incredible plant click here.
